Auroo India is built to empower Indian local merchants, shops, and entrepreneurs to launch digital catalogs without subscription fees, hidden charges, or percentage commissions. By accessing or using Auroo India (aurooindia.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Role as an Intermediary Platform
Auroo India functions strictly as an intermediary and technology provider under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Auroo India provides the digital catalog hosting, QR poster generation, and order dispatch software.
Auroo India does not own, manufacture, store, pack, inspect, or deliver any physical products listed by merchants on their respective storefronts.
Merchant Responsibilities & Conduct
When operating a store on Auroo India, merchants agree to:
- Provide authentic store names, physical addresses, and active contact numbers.
- Display truthful product pricing, accurate item descriptions, and adhere to declared delivery timeframes (e.g. 15-30m, same-day, 2-3 days).
- Obtain all mandatory licenses required under Indian law (e.g. FSSAI registration for food outlets, Trade License, GST if applicable).
- Directly handle customer order fulfillment, queries, and refunds.
Prohibited Products & Zero Tolerance
Merchants are strictly prohibited from listing, advertising, or selling:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, prescription medicines without regulatory compliance, or banned substances.
- Weapons, explosives, hazardous chemicals, or counterfeit goods.
- Pornographic, explicit, or sexually oriented material.
- Any item or content violating Indian intellectual property, trademarks, or criminal laws.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate and permanent store termination, blacklisting, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
Free Service Guarantee & Zero Commission
Auroo India charges ₹0 setup fee, ₹0 monthly subscription, and 0% sales commission to merchants. Customer settlements occur directly via direct merchant UPI / Cash on Delivery. Auroo India is not responsible for any direct payment disputes between merchants and buyers.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Auroo India and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, food spoilage, delivery delays caused by merchants, or technical downtime. The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or proceeding arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
